My defaults, whatever the cuisine.
  • Order protein first. Build the plate around it.
  • Always ask for sauces on the side. Saves 300+ kcal per meal.
  • One starch, not three. Rice OR bread OR fries โ€” pick one.
  • Water with meals. No sugary drinks, no fruit juices.
  • No dessert by default. If the dessert is exceptional, share one.
  • Walk 10 min after. Post-meal walk = better glucose response.
